Some game studios are proposing to work on it. Chief Executive Officer of Lionsgate Entertainment Jon Feltheimer stated that,
“I don’t want to get ahead of myself here, but we believe there is a big AAA game to be made out of ‘John Wick.’ We have been fielding proposals. We certainly are interested in moving that forward, but I don’t want to say anything more about that at this time.”
Feltheimer praised the filmmakers for keeping the John Wick franchise alive and relevant. John Wick 2014 earned around $86 million, while the budget was only $20 million. The sequels have gotten even more successful due to the franchise’s popularity, making the series a blockbuster. The fourth John Wick movie will release in March 2023.
