The most played FPS franchise of this era drops its Modern Warfare 2 trailer and it has taken the entire gaming scene by storm. In addition to that, the new plot twists seen in the trailer of Modern Warfare 2 have the whole fan base of COD glued to their seats in anticipation.
COD: Modern Warfare 2 was first launched in 2009 and was published by Activision and developed by Infinity Ward. The same two studios are responsible for the development of COD: Modern Warfare 2 (2022) and have announced that the game will be released on 28th October 2022. Contrary to the rumors, the developers have confirmed that the upcoming COD: Modern Warfare 2 won’t be a remake of 2009 original but a continuation of the plot of COD: Modern Warfare 1 released in 2019 so the entire fan base is waiting for the campaign rather than the multiplayer mode to see their favorite characters live out their days of the war.
According to the developers, there will be no new characters added to the plot, and popular characters like Ghost, Soap, Roach, and Price will lead the plot until the end. Moreover, the stunning graphics using the latest IW 9.0 (Infinity Ward) engine, a deep storyline, and a massive fan base are sure to make the AAA game a hit.
Fret not, you won’t need an internet connection to enjoy the offline campaign of the game. The total size of the game is expected to be more than 45 GB. Some leaks of the game show that there will be two new modes in the multiplayer zone called Knockout and Prisoner Rescue.
Overall, the game will require a minimum requirement of 8GB RAM, DirectX 12, and a 3GB VRAM on GPU. In order to enjoy all the stunning graphics and high fidelity, you’ll need at least 16GB RAM with a GTX 1060, and an Intel Core i7-4770K processor. It will be available on Windows, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S immediately on release. PC players can download the game from online game stores such as Steam, Blizzard’s Battle.net, and Epic Games which will cost around $60 and the game contains the full campaign along with the multiplayer mode.
